Divisions and Participants

  • Jack’n’Jill Newcomer – the division is intended for dancers, who have never competed before or have competed in newcomer (or similar) divisions, but didn’t place, and have no WSDC points.
  • Jack’n’Jill Novice –Competitors with no WSDC points or fewer than 15 Novice WSDC points should compete in this division.
  • Jack’n’Jill Intermediate Competitors with 15 or more Novice WSDC points, but fewer than 30 Intermediate WSDC points should dance in this division.
  • Jack’n’Jill Advanced. Competitors with 30 or more Intermediate WSDC points should dance in this division.
  • Jack’n’Jill All Stars. Competitors with 45 or more Advanced WSDC points earned withing 3 years prior to the event, should dance in this division
  • Strictly Novice. The division is open for dancers with fewer than 15 Novice WSDC points. Competitors enter as a couple. If any of the partners have 15 or more Novice WSDC points, or competing at Intermediate level, couple should dance in Intermediate or Open Strictly division.
  • Strictly Intermediate. The division is open for dancers with fewer than 30 Intermediate WSDC points. Competitors enter as a couple. If any of the partners have 30 or more Intermediate WSDC points, or competing at a higher level, couple should dance in Open Strictly division.
  • Strictly open The division is open for dancers of all levels. Competitors enter as a couple. If contestant is dancing in Rising star routines division they may not dance with the same partner in Strictly division of any level.
  • JackPot’n’Jill The division is open for dancers of all levels.
  • Rising Star Routines The division is open for dancers of all levels. Choreographed routines are required
